Dear Rakufun Users, According to the Presidential Order issued by the U.S. government on July 30, 2025, which terminates the De Minimis exemption for all countries, starting from August 29, 2025 (Friday), all consumer goods imported into the United States will no longer enjoy duty-free treatment and will be subject to applicable customs duties. Please find the details below: 1. Japan Post to the U.S.Effective from August 27, 2025 (Wednesday), the following Japan post shipments (AIR, SEA, and EMS items) destined for the United States will be temporarily suspended:①Personal gift parcels with a declared value exceeding USD 100;②All commercial parcels for sale or trade (including items purchased from websites).Personal gift parcels with a declared value of USD 100 or less can be shipped normally.The service resumption date is yet to be determined and will be announced through our official channels once available. 2. DHL Shipments to the U.S.Starting from 12:01 AM (EST), August 29, 2025, shipments to the U.S. via DHL will no longer qualify for De Minimis:①Shipments valued at USD 800 or below must pay all applicable duties according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (HTSUS), including but not limited to general duties, IEEPA duties, and other applicable tariffs.②For shipments valued at USD 2,500 or below, the simplified clearance policy remains unchanged for now. However, since policy details are still uncertain, we will promptly update you if new official announcements are released.
